This design, made by Pim van den Akker is minimalistic in materials and has a very natural look. Pim drilled some holes in the big branch to start with. The holes are just big enough for the freesia stems to fit in. Then he connected the branch to the wooden bowl with some screws. The bowl is made waterproof with varnish, the freesias are placed in the holes and some steel grasses give the object an extra layer of detail. At last Pim dropped a hand full of hypericum berries in the water.
